Building immersive
worlds through
craftsmanship

An independent creative game studio set up in Japan by Swedish game developers, operating out of a house surrounded by greenery in Setagaya, Tokyo. They wanted to present a unique impression unlike any other game production studio. We designed the site with their expert craftsmanship, technical skills, and the charm and warmth they wear in mind.

OVERVIEW

We started by creating a mood board to learn about their preferences. We created design mockups based on the geometric objects and the red color that came up in the process. The final result was a unique visual that combined 3D objects with a grid, inspired by their logo. We also used their illustrations and concept art from their production process to design the pages.

As a creative game studio, we put effort into developing interactions. The goal was to create a site that can be enjoyed in various ways by scrolling, hovering, and clicking. The ability to change the color theme is part of the above; we chose a dark green color scheme instead of the more common “dark mode” based on the image of “night.” The color scheme represents a studio whose games can be enjoyed all day long.
